We survived another Christmas in one piece, and for that I am thankful. We had a great time with family at all of our required stops and now, even though it is the day after, we are spent! One more week to go and then here's to looking forward to a brand new year and a chance to start over...well, sort of.
Another year has come and gone without much posting. :(
I have let the busy days slip by without much documentation, and I can attribute this to many things, specifically school. As much as I love going to school I must sheepishly admit that it has taken its toll. I am so wrapped up in academia it seems that I have been neglecting my hobbies: photography and crafting! (Insert another sad face here!!!) I have successfully completed one more semester and I think after the Spring and next Fall I will be on the road to my first graduation and I say first because I will be transferring and working toward a more advanced degree when my time at Meramec runs its course.
It is that time of year to start anew, and we begin with the traditional "New Year's Resolutions." For 2012 I have many things planned, but at the top of my list is going to be relaxing and not taking the whole thing so seriously all of the time! The kids are growing fast and before I know it it will too late to enjoy the childhood part of their lives so I must seize the day and start now! Maybe a new planner or desk calendar is in order...
